Primary Duty:

As a Carpenter and Joiner at Gill Electrical Engineering Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of repair, maintenance, and installation services offered by our company.

Job Duties:

1. Prepare residential and commercial properties for installation, and conduct necessary maintenance when working on electrical installations, intruder alarms, CCTV, and fire alarms, primarily for A & U Electrical Services.
2. Ensure that all tasks, including electrical work and the installation of security systems, are performed with the highest level of precision and quality to guarantee customer satisfaction.
3. Prioritize safety throughout the entire electrical work and construction process, both for yourself and the customer.
4. Carefully select and measure appropriate wood materials, then cut, shape, and drill them to exact specifications using a variety of tools, such as saws, planes, chisels, and power tools when working on electrical installations or security systems.
5. Verify the accuracy of your work using tools like a square, ruler, and spirit level, and maintain and repair woodwork and fittings as needed for electrical work, and the installation of security systems. All building work.

Experience:

Carpenter and Joiner: 2 years of experience (preferred)
